Hancock Senior Leadership Class Now
Forming
Now in its second year, Hancock
Senior Leadership (HSL) is a community awareness program designed to
develop informed, motivated and committed retired and semi-retired
persons to assume leadership roles within the Hancock County
community. It is
co-sponsored by the Hancock County Agency on Aging and
Findlay/Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and is patterned after
the highly popular and successful Hancock Leadership and Hancock
Youth Leadership programs.

Talking with the Food Lady: July
14, 21 & 28 at 12:30 pm
Patti Koester with OSU Extension will present fun and tasty
presentations on fun food for summer (food samples--yum!).
Programs are FREE, pre-registration is requested.

Cars Against Cancer Cruise-In: July
24 11 am-4 pm
Whether you want to enter your "baby" or just like to look at great
cars, this is sure to be a fun event. Check out

Ballroom Dancing Lessons for Beginners:
Aug. 3, 10, 17, 24
Ed & Kathy Stefan will teach the basics of the
waltz and rumba in this 4 session course. Classes are
5:30-6:30 at The Senior Center. Pre-registration required by
July 30. Course fee is $30 per couple; credit card payment
available. To register, call Betty at

Family Fun Fest: August 21 from
noon to 4pm
Good old fashioned family fun will be on the
menu at our Family Fun Fest-- an Official Pit Stop for Car
Tunes on Main. Activities include: Celebrity Dunk Tank
(stay tuned for celebrities), corn
hole, pong bounce, pickleball, egg & spoon race, water balloon toss
and more. Buttons the Clown will be on hand to entertain the
kids of all ages.

Introduction to Our Programs and Services
The Hancock County Agency on Aging offers programs and services to
support senior adults in remaining independent and in their own
homes as well as to enrich the quality of their lives. Our
services are available to any senior living in Hancock County, age
60 or better, regardless of income, health or other circumstances.
We also partner with area non-profits and businesses to offer a wide
range of support and enrichment programs to expand the options and
opportunities for our seniors to enjoy.
Senior
Cafe:
The Senior Cafe offers tasty meals Monday through Friday 11:30 am to
1:00 pm. Open to all Hancock County seniors 60 or better and
their guest. Lunches are $4 per person.
