enhance the quality of life of older adults by empowering them to
maintain and create independence through advocacy, education,
support and fellowship.
Introduction to
Our Programs and Services
The
Hancock County Agency on Aging offers programs and services to
support senior adults in remaining independent and in their own
homes as well as to enrich the quality of their lives. Our services
are available to any senior living in
Hancock County,
age 60 or better, regardless of income, health or other
circumstances. We also partner with area non-profits and businesses
to offer a wide range of support and enrichment programs to expand
the options and opportunities for our seniors to enjoy.
Senior Cafe:
The Senior Cafe offers tasty meals Monday through Friday 11:30 am to 1:00
pm. Open to all Hancock County seniors 60 or better.
Lunches are $4 per person.

caregivers support groups, caregivers training series, counseling
about and liaison with assistance programs like pharmaceuticals,
medical assistance, housing, transportation, and in-home counseling

repairs and maintenance, lawn mowing, snow removal, yard work, heavy
cleaning, painting, window washing, moving, and grocery delivery
service
Mobile Meals:
delivers nutritious, home delivered meal service delivered to
enrolled seniors.
